Neutron stars are proton-neutron-electron matter but squeezed bc of gravity so that electrons are inside protons, right?

just as the 360/PS3 acievement/trophy for Just Cause 2 says, “Gravity Is A Bitch”

@Obelisk155 What a weird coincidence – only 4 days of difference between dates of birth of IN and SH (+ 299 years of course) and and the same date as that of Galileo’s death. I’m about to start believing in astrology lol

@avelsdjur it doesn’t “consume” matter. It crushes it

Obelisk155 January 3, 2012 at 6:48 am

@richmond436 Actually, it was suppose to be 300 years after the death of Galileo.

xferociousx January 3, 2012 at 7:00 am

@richmond436 Maybe they added in the ~75 leap year days and then rounded up from there. ;p

The galaxy and other stuff is a fascinating place.

CHUBBLE117 January 3, 2012 at 9:10 am

@richmond436 There just hoping no one checks the facts lol

mikeinfected January 3, 2012 at 9:16 am

@richmond436 they got that wrong, it was actually three hundred years from the death of Galileo.

Could black holes be the portals to other universes?

BigToeNo7 January 3, 2012 at 10:16 am

Well…maybe if one is moving close to the speed of light relative to the other? :)

The way I see it… magnetism is just gravity… in the same way that a black hole captures matter and rotates it in a centrifugal manner, magnetism caused by electron flow in a wire is essentially a bunch of these back holes stacked on top of each other… i.e. the electrons travelling through a wire have mass that have a gravitational effect observed as magentism… then again I have no idea why this gravitational effect only has significant effect only on metallic objects.

W9ILL January 3, 2012 at 11:42 am

Good question. Magnetism can be a result of Gravity. For example. The core of earth is thought to be a mass of molten metals rotating and moving around caused by gravity. Without the Gravity earths core would be not move. If earths core was still, there would be no magnetic field around to protect us. So gravity is necessary for earth to have a magnetic field. It is possible if a black hole had a high metal ratio it could exert strong magnetic forces. I could be wrong though.

Let’s come into the temptation to ask the following qustion. While gravity is a weak force in the universe compared to other forces like electricity or magnetism, why aren’t there magnetic singualarities as well? Do magnetism curve space time like gravity does?

If Hawking was born on Jan. 8, 1942 and Newton was born on Jan. 4, 1643, how is that “EXACTLY” 300 years apart?

m8cct January 3, 2012 at 12:19 pm

but he’s also one of the most intelligent humans on earth, so that’s a definite plus, lol.

normajeanmartyr January 3, 2012 at 12:26 pm

your ugly fagget . your not worthy

lmerrima January 3, 2012 at 1:05 pm

Yes, I’m sure he’s all broken up about being ugly. *rolls eyes*

whammydoom January 3, 2012 at 1:49 pm

shit, hawkings can’t speak, move, or walk, and a computer talks for him, not to mention ugly too, I would not won’t to live like that.

proves my point…
Ye have made your way from worm to man, but much within remains WORM…

shut the fuck up bitch. stupid motherfucker.

konigtigertank January 3, 2012 at 3:21 pm

may have mispelled a couple things,
no one is perfect.
